Call for Abstracts

Papers should be submitted in English or French via the submit button, which will redirect you to the XC-D system platform. Authors will be asked to indicate the technical theme under which they would like their paper to be presented.

The deadline for submitting an abstract (maximum 400 words) has been extended to January 15, 2026. An invitation to submit a paper will be sent on February 13, 2026, to authors whose abstracts have been accepted by the conference technical committee.

Detailed guidelines for the preparation and submission of technical papers will be published in early 2026. Authors whose abstracts have been accepted will be required to submit their full papers by May1, 2026. The GeoQuébec 2026 technical committee will review all papers for clarity, technical merit and relevance to the conference themes. Our goal is to inform each author of the acceptance of his or her paper by June 12, 2026.

If the review team believes revisions are necessary, comments will be provided. All authors must submit their final paper by June 26, 2026. Each paper must be accompanied by at least one full conference registration. Presentation of accepted papers is mandatory and may take the form of an oral or poster presentation, as recommended by the technical committee.

Final decisions concerning technical merit, relevance and the theme of the assigned session, as well as the choice between an oral or poster presentation, are the responsibility of the technical committee.
